What We Think: The mid-size-sedan segment continues to shrink, and the Chevrolet Malibu is among its latest victims, with the 2025 model year marking the bow-tie brand’s last year competing in the segment. While better options are available, such as the 10Best-winning Honda Accord, the Malibu isn’t without its merits. Credit its playful underpinnings and stylish looks, which when paired with a potentially steep discount, make this Chevy a sedan worth considering. That said, if the dealer’s not willing to play ball, you’re better off walking away from the Malibu and checking out the likes of the aforementioned Accord or a Toyota Camry. If you’re paying top dollar, it stands to reason that you might prefer putting your money toward one of the segment’s top options. MORE ABOUT THE CHEVROLET MALIBU
