He says, “Let me start with the things I dislike the most about my truck. First, the Halogen headlights aren’t very bright, and I need to upgrade to the new LEDs.”
“Next, tire-wise, it’s really hard to fit 33s or 35s without rubbing the fender wells really badly.I need to get a body relocation mount and chop even more off the inner fender wells.”
“On the interior, I wish my front seats would go a little further down, because I feel like I’m sitting too high up.”
The biggest disappointment
“I’m most disappointed on my Toyota Tacoma with the temperature readout above the knob. I wish I had a screen right there that tells me the temperature of the heat and the AC.”
“Another complaint is that my truck isn’t very fast. It needs more power. However, it is very reliable, which makes up for the lack of power.”
In another video clip, Gavin says, “After getting a fresh tank of gas and driving my truck normally, I can still only get 13 miles a gallon,” he states. “How is that possible?”
“All you guys have left comments on how you have the same setup as I do, and you are getting 16 to 20 miles per gallon.”
“The very best I can get is 14.3 mpg. It was sitting at 15.5, but that was after driving on the highway. But I haven’t driven very far the last three days, so it hasn’t improved.”
“So, I guess I’m only going to get 13-15 because I have 33-inch tires and a lift on my truck.”

“Now I do like how the stock Tacoma exhaust sounds. Some people say the Tacomas don’t sound very good, but with the MBRP exhaust, it sounds pretty good.”
“Overall, if you are just getting started with a Tacoma pickup, it’s the best truck you can buy hands down for under $35,000. I don’t think you can beat this.”
