Up Close Photos of CybertruckThere are some nice up close and personal photos of the Cybertruck someone took, and they reveal some interesting things.
And no, one of those things isn’t the range of the Cybertruck, although some earlier photos helped us estimate the range of the Cybertruck.
The first is that there is a glass roof. The second is the frunk, which looks bigger than before and shows the word in a special kind of cursive writing, “Cybertruck”.

You also get a clear shot of the dashboard area, which includes the semi-yoke steering wheel, a graphical picture of the Cybertruck on the center screen, and a large center console.
There is also no rearview mirror in these photos, and that could be because the tonneau cover is closed.
All those things by themselves are interesting, but the most interesting thing to me is the consolidated user interface and its controls. It looks like Tesla has done something special here.

Tesla Cybertruck Consolidated User Interface Controls
There is a SINGLE screen for many different options, which is different from in my Tesla Model 3 RWD, which has a large set of options on the menu that you choose between. Tesla appears to have consolidated the UI controls.

On the same screen, there are these options:
Fold Mirrors – which seems like it will fold the mirrors in and out.
There is a steering option with up and down arrows, and I only assume that this will adjust the steering capabilities in how the 4-wheel steering works.
There is a setting for folding the mirrors in or out, and up and down.
You also have settings for car wash, sentry mode, recording for the dash cam, the child lock, and window lock.
The two most interesting settings to me, however, are the suspension and the tonneau. The tonneau is what manages the bed covering for the back of the truck.
The suspension appears to be how much air suspension to have the Cybertruck use in case one needs to go off-roading. The options are high, low, and entry.
The tonneau option appears to manage the bed of the truck and the covering for it. There are two options: open and close. Its fully powered by the Cybertruck.
I love the consolidated UI with all the options on one screen – it makes it a lot easier to use and find things.
