Every time Torque News tests a Ford F-150, neighbors, friends, family, and strangers all want to know which one we got and how much we love it. We’ve tested multiple Raptors, and they are show stoppers. We end up chatting with everyone we park it near. We’ve also been fortunate enough to test two Lightnings. They are amazing to drive. So much torque! The Raptor and Lightning are both awesome, but my personal favorite is the Hybrid.
Here’s a quick rundown of some of the things we spotted on and in the F-150 Tremor Series that we think will win over shoppers.
The Big Metal Skidplate – Who doesn’t love a functional skidplate? I a world of silver plastic add-ons the Tremor rocks the real deal.
General Grabber Tires With 3PMS – The tires on our Tremor were three-peak mountain snowflake-rated. That means the owner of this truck would be able to skip having dedicated winter tires.
B&O Sound System – Nobody does audio better at the price point than Ford. The B&O system in our tester rocked.
Six Wiring-Ready Aux Switches
Let’s see: Light bar, winch, plow controls, a second light bar. What else could you add?
Pro Tailgate – It opens down, and also the center section can swing out. Built-in ruler? Check!
The Widdle Wadder Step – Need help stepping up into your Tremor? No problem if you opt for the $430 Retractable Center Step. I’d get it.
Equipment Group 420A Mobile Office – Who doesn’t like a mobile office?
Infotainment Done Right – We like the physical buttons. We love Synch4 with the 12” Screen
