Personally, we’ve never driven the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, our top pick in the premium sports sedan category, and thought, “You know what this could use? More power, baby!” But if you’re of a mind that the CT5-V Blackwing’s stock 668 horsepower doesn’t quite cut it, Magnuson Superchargers has you covered with its new TVS2650 replacement kit. Magnuson SuperchargersThe kit is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the LT4’s stock supercharger, and according to Magnuson, it has OEM fit and finish. It’ll apparently add 90 horsepower and 76 pound-feet of torque, while also delivering cooler charge temps, even without touching the Caddy’s engine tune. Should you want to fiddle with the tune, Magnuson says the upgraded unit is capable of pushing the LT4 beyond the 1000-hp mark. Magnuson SuperchargersThe kit is priced at $7195 and comes with all the necessary hardware for installation—though most people will likely want to go through a professional installer. The replacement supercharger housing can be ordered in blue, green, orange, red, or two different black options. ➡️ Skip the lot.
