2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 EV Offers 335 Miles of Range for $60,555

02/05/2025

  • Hyundai has revealed pricing for the 2026 Ioniq 9 three-row electric SUV, with the rear-drive model starting at $60,555.
  • Pricing for the Ioniq 9’s all-wheel-drive configurations ranges from $64,365 for the SE trim to $78,090 for the range-topping Calligraphy Design.
  • All trim levels of the Ioniq 9 use the same 110-kWh lithium-ion battery with an EPA-estimated range between 311 miles and 335 miles.

We fell in love with the Kia EV9 from the outset, naming the three-row EV an Editors’ Choice and putting it on our 10Best list in its first model year. Now, three years later, Hyundai is launching its own version of the three-row EV SUV called the Ioniq 9, and the company has just announced pricing. Starting on the lower end of the lineup, the single-motor rear-drive Ioniq 9 S starts at $60,555. Despite being the least expensive trim in the lineup, the S offers the most range, earning an EPA estimate of 335 miles. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive SE and SEL are next on the list, and carry starting prices of $64,365 and $67,920, respectively. Both of those models are rated for 320 miles of range. The Performance Limited, Performance Calligraphy, and Performance Calligraphy Design all earn the lowest range ratings, at 311 miles, according to the EPA. The Performance Limited carries a starting price of $72,850, with the Performance Calligraphy starting at $76,590, and the range-topping Performance Calligraphy Design at $78,090. Along with the rest of Hyundai’s 2026 EV lineup, the Ioniq 9 will ship with a standard NACS charging port and adapters for CCS chargers. According to Hyundai, Ioniq 9 customers will also receive a complimentary Level 2 ChargePoint home charger or a $400 charging credit. All Ioniq 9s sold in the United States will be built at Hyundai’s new factory in Bryan County, Georgia, which should offer the model some protection from the worst of any tariff-related pricing changes. According to Hyundai, the Ioniq 9 is scheduled to arrive at dealerships early this month. More on the Ioniq 9Jack Fitzgerald’s love for cars stems from his as yet unshakable addiction to Formula 1.
After a brief stint as a detailer for a local dealership group in college, he knew he needed a more permanent way to drive all the new cars he couldn’t afford and decided to pursue a career in auto writing. By hounding his college professors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, he was able to travel Wisconsin seeking out stories in the auto world before landing his dream job at Car and Driver. His new goal is to delay the inevitable demise of his 2010 Volkswagen Golf.
