One of Ford’s most famous vehicles is finally teaming up with Fortnite. Fans have long wanted to see the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 featured, now it is available. Some know the vehicle as Eleanor from the classic movie “Gone in 60 Seconds”. Others may recognize the sleek racer from the Fast and Furious movies. Now, Fortnite and Rocket League fans can take over the controls.

The 1967 Shelby GT500 in the Fortnite game sure looks like Eleanor. It has the same distinctive black stripes and Dupont grey exterior and powerful engine. The Shelby GT500 was known for its supercharged V8 and high performance for its time. You see a lot of customized and recreated versions of the famous Mustang sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars at auction.
Fortnite Fans Are Anxious to Get the Classic Shelby GT500
Fans on Fortnite said they are thrilled to get the classic 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 but disappointed the Fortnite version only has three available decals. BL1 said “I’m gonna completely honest. I haven’t played the game recently at all… but as soon as I saw this drop… I’ve never clicked on the game so fast in my life.” Boss wants to see more muscle cars. “Dream car, pleaseeeeee add more ford to the game. I’m begging. Or just American muscle in general.” Edwin is also happy to see the classic, “What an awesome trailer! Ford is one of my favorite car brands.” Rocco said “The KING has arrived!!!Thank you guys.”
Fortnite and Ford
The Shelby GT500 is available for 2,500 V-Bucks. Fans can personalize the muscle car selecting its wheels and paint color. Buying the Mustang in Fortnite also makes it available in Rocket League. Rocket League has featured the F-150, Shelby GT350, Bronco Raptor and Mustang Mach-E in the past.
